About the Role
The Product Manager Market Platform role at Voltus is a critical position that drives product outcomes for electricity markets. As a key member of the market platform pillar, you will be responsible for determining how customers participate in these markets, from dispatch signals to offer submission and optimization. Your work will have a direct impact on the company's business objectives and will require close collaboration with the engineering team to ensure the development of systems that maximize financial return and operate efficiently.Your day-to-day responsibilities will include developing and prioritizing outcomes within the market platform pillar, communicating results to stakeholders, and aligning with engineering managers on product requirements. You will also be responsible for formulating investment theses grounded in user needs, market mechanics, and business objectives, as well as owning the product roadmap and success criteria for your product area.

What You Will Do
- Develop and prioritize outcomes within the market platform pillar to drive business objectives
- Collaborate with engineering managers to align on product requirements and manage day-to-day efforts
- Formulate investment theses grounded in user needs, market mechanics, and business objectives
- Own the product roadmap, vision, success criteria, and metrics for your product area
- Validate hypotheses and assumptions about market mechanics, user needs, and system behavior
- Ensure product solutions are operationally viable, adequately supported, and aligned with business and regulatory strategy
- Communicate results to stakeholders across the organization
- Manage and prioritize multiple work streams simultaneously
- Distill qualitative and quantitative information into actionable product decisions
What We Are Looking For
- At least 2-3 years of experience as a product manager or in a role building products
- Exceptionally strong written and verbal communication skills
- Strong technical acumen, with the ability to review specs and engage deeply with engineers
- Self-starter with the ability to manage and prioritize multiple work streams simultaneously
- Ability to distill qualitative and quantitative information into actionable product decisions
- Experience in energy markets, market operations, or energy technology is a plus
Nice to Have
- Experience working with distributed energy resources and virtual power plants
