What You Will Do
- Own a product area: define problems, write clear requirements, and drive execution with cross-functional teams.
- Shape the roadmap using data, feedback, and market signals to ensure products meet customer needs and market demands.
- Collaborate with Engineering to deliver high-quality, reliable products that are scalable and efficient.
- Work with Design to create intuitive, user-friendly experiences that simplify financial management for users.
- Use metrics and user insights to measure and improve outcomes, ensuring that products are meeting their intended goals.
- Communicate clearly and effectively with stakeholders, aligning them with product decisions and guiding them through the product development process.
- Act with a founder mindset: simplify processes, move fast, and embrace feedback to continuously improve products and the product development process.
- Learn continuously and help raise the bar for Plaid's products and culture by staying updated with industry trends and best practices.
- Participate in the development of the product strategy, ensuring it aligns with Plaid's overall mission and goals.
- Manage and prioritize product backlogs, ensuring that the most critical features are developed and delivered first.
What We Are Looking For
- 2–4 years of experience in a product-related role, such as Product Manager, startup operator, founder, or product analyst.
- Proven track record of building or launching products end-to-end, with a focus on fintech or a related field.
- Experience collaborating closely with engineering and design teams to deliver value quickly.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills; able to explain complex ideas simply and effectively.
- Comfortable operating in fast-moving, ambiguous environments where priorities can shift quickly.
- Familiarity using AI in your day-to-day product work, such as prototyping, research, or analysis.
- Experience in an early-stage or high-growth startup environment, preferably in the fintech sector.
- Strong analytical skills, with the ability to analyze data and make informed product decisions.
- Passion for fintech and a drive to make a difference in people's financial lives.

- Experience in fintech, with a deep understanding of financial systems and regulations.
- Knowledge of Excel and other data analysis tools, with the ability to use them for product-related tasks.
