About the Role
The Product Manager, Principal, will play a pivotal role in defining and executing the product strategy and roadmap for Epicor's healthcare-focused solutions. This involves aligning company objectives with customer needs, ensuring compliance with country-specific regulations, and leveraging AI tools to enhance product management effectiveness. The successful candidate will work closely with cross-functional teams, including engineering, architecture, and sales, to drive the development of scalable and secure products that meet the evolving needs of the healthcare industry.In this role, day-to-day activities will include gathering and prioritizing product requirements, developing user stories and acceptance criteria, and collaborating with stakeholders to ensure that products meet customer needs and business objectives. The Product Manager, Principal, will also be responsible for supporting go-to-market activities, including positioning, customer enablement, and executive presentations.
As a key member of the product management team, the Product Manager, Principal, will contribute to the development of Epicor's product vision and strategy, working closely with senior leadership to ensure that products are aligned with the company's overall goals and objectives.
What You Will Do
- Define and execute the product strategy and roadmap for healthcare-focused solutions
- Translate market opportunities and customer feedback into prioritized product requirements
- Develop and maintain product roadmaps, release plans, and requirements documents
- Collaborate with engineering and architecture teams to balance innovation, scalability, security, and regulatory constraints
- Work closely with cross-functional teams, including sales, marketing, and customer support, to ensure that products meet customer needs and business objectives
- Support go-to-market activities, including positioning, customer enablement, and executive presentations
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including customers, partners, and executive stakeholders
- Leverage AI tools to enhance product management effectiveness and decision-making
- Apply AI-assisted workflows to synthesize customer feedback, summarize research, and identify trends
- Drive requirements gathering, backlog prioritization, user story development, and acceptance criteria definition
What We Are Looking For
- Experience in the software industry, preferably in ERP systems or healthcare technology
- Hands-on experience in strategic planning and business case development
- Strong analytical, strategic thinking, and communication skills
- Experience working directly with enterprise customers and executive stakeholders
- Ability to translate complex regulatory and operational requirements into scalable product solutions
- Strong product management skills, including product vision, strategy, and roadmap development
- Experience with AI tools and technologies, including machine learning and natural language processing
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field, such as computer science, business administration, or healthcare management
- 5+ years of applicable experience, with a demonstrated track record of success and knowledge in product management
Nice to Have
- Experience with cloud-based technologies and SaaS models
- Knowledge of healthcare regulations and standards, such as HIPAA and ICD-10
- Familiarity with agile development methodologies and DevOps practices
- Experience with data analytics and visualization tools, such as Tableau or Power BI
- Certification in product management, such as CSPO or AIPMM
