About the Role
As a Product Manager for Solar Inverters at TMEIC Corporation Americas, you will play a crucial role in driving the company's solar inverter product line strategies. You will be responsible for developing and executing plans over a 1-2 year rolling time frame, managing the assigned portfolio, and overseeing the product development process from idea generation to product launch. What You Will Do
- Develop and execute solar inverter product line strategies over a 1-2 year rolling time frame
- Assess markets, primary potential clients, and competitors to identify opportunities for growth
- Manage the assigned portfolio and oversee the product development process from idea generation to product launch
- Solicit input from business unit team members and incorporate feedback into product development plans
- Monitor sales and margins for assigned products and report significant changes to management
- Identify and explore opportunities to expand assigned product offerings into larger, integrated systems
- Develop thorough product requirement documents for product and system development
- Create and update documentation for sales presentations and sales application engineering
- Provide technical consulting, coaching, and training to the business unit sales and sales application teams
- Develop relationships with suppliers and partners to supplement new business growth
What We Are Looking For
- BS degree in electrical, mechanical, or related engineering, or equivalent experience
- 3 years of application engineering or design experience in inverters and photovoltaic systems
- 3 years of experience in product management or technical sales
- Demonstrated experience in utility-scale power generation and solar inverter technology
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams
- Proficiency in Excel and other business tools, with the ability to analyze data and develop insights
- Strong visual graphics capabilities, with the ability to create attractive and informative publications

- Experience with product roadmap development and long-term product planning
- Knowledge of market trends and competitor analysis in the solar inverter industry
- Certification in product management or a related field
