Job Description
About the Role
As a Product Manager at Ramp, you will be responsible for leading the development of AI-powered vendor products, including Vendor Management, Price Intelligence, and workflow automation. You'll work closely with engineering, design, and cross-functional stakeholders to build intelligent experiences that help customers save money, reduce risk, and eliminate manual vendor work. Your goal will be to define and execute a strategy that leverages Ramp's unique vendor and spend dataset to create a compounding product advantage.The role will require you to be comfortable working in-person at one of Ramp's NYC or SF offices at least 2 days a week. You'll need to be a strong communicator and collaborator, able to work effectively with a variety of stakeholders, including engineering, design, and cross-functional teams.

You'll be responsible for making strategic decisions that drive product development forward and ensuring that the products you build meet the needs of Ramp's customers.
What You Will Do
- Build products that help finance and procurement teams manage the vendor lifecycle end-to-end, from intake to offboarding
- Own the product vision, strategy, and roadmap for Vendor AI, including Price Intelligence and workflow automation
- Partner with engineering and data science to ship AI systems that are reliable in production
- Create decision moments inside Ramp, bringing together contract context, benchmarks, spend trends, and recommendations
- Lead high-velocity execution with a world-class team of engineers and designers
- Develop deep customer and persona understanding across Finance, Procurement, AP, Legal, and IT/Security
- Drive cross-functional alignment on dependencies and launch readiness
- Define and execute a strategy that turns Ramp's unique vendor and spend dataset into a compounding product advantage
- Reimagine how companies discover, manage, and renegotiate vendors
What We Are Looking For
- BA/BS in a technical or analytical field, such as Computer Science, Engineering, or Information Systems
- Minimum 5 years of product management or adjacent product-building experience
- Strong product judgment and first-principles thinking, especially at the intersection of structured data surfaces, analytics, and customer workflows
- AI fluency and passion, with a deep understanding of technical concepts and hands-on experience
- Experience working with cross-functional teams, including engineering, design, and data science
- Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with a variety of stakeholders
- Ability to navigate ambiguity and prioritize tasks effectively in a fast-paced environment
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to drive product development forward
Nice to Have
- Experience working with Vendor Management, Price Intelligence, or workflow automation products
- Knowledge of GTM, Excel, or other data analysis tools
- Experience working in a remote or hybrid work environment
- Certification in product management or a related field
