About the Role

ClickHouse is seeking a highly skilled Product Marketing Engineer to join their team. As a Product Marketing Engineer, you will be responsible for developing and executing marketing strategies to drive awareness and adoption of the ClickHouse platform. You will work closely with the product management, marketing, and engineering teams to create compelling content, including blog posts, benchmarks, guides, demos, and conference presentations.

In this role, you will have the opportunity to work with a cutting-edge technology and collaborate with a talented team of professionals. You will be responsible for staying up-to-date with industry trends and advancements, and applying that knowledge to drive the success of the ClickHouse platform.

What You Will Do

  • Become a ClickHouse subject matter expert and develop deep expertise in the product
  • Create product and marketing collateral, such as blog posts, benchmarks, guides, demos, webpages, and docs
  • Deliver conference and meetup presentations to showcase the ClickHouse platform
  • Help define and drive the content strategy and roadmap for the product
  • Evaluate and iterate on the content strategy with metrics and feedback from stakeholders
  • Translate technical features and nuances into clear and concise value propositions
  • Conduct market research and competitive analysis to identify positioning opportunities
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with product management, marketing, and engineering teams
  • Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including customers, partners, and industry influencers

What We Are Looking For

  • 5+ years of engineering or product marketing engineering experience
  • Strong technical background with the ability to understand complex engineering concepts and communicate them effectively
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to create compelling engineering content
  • Proven project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines simultaneously
  • Team player with the ability to collaborate effectively across functions and levels of the organization
  • Passion for technology and innovation, with a drive to stay current on industry trends and advancements
  • Deep understanding of databases, particularly OLAP
  • Fluency in SQL
  • Bachelor's degree (BA/BS) in Computer Science or a related technical field
  • Experience with tools like Adjust and Excel

Nice to Have

  • Experience with data visualization tools, such as Tableau or Power BI
  • Knowledge of cloud-based technologies, such as AWS or Azure
  • Familiarity with agile development methodologies
  • Experience with marketing automation platforms, such as Marketo or Pardot
