About the Role

The Product Marketing Manager role at Affirm is a strategic and hands-on position that plays a critical part in shaping the company's product strategy and driving business growth. What You Will Do

  • Shape product strategy through insights, partnering closely with the product team to identify new opportunities and unmet customer needs
  • Lead GTM strategy and execution, owning the end-to-end strategy and execution of high-impact go-to-market initiatives
  • Develop and execute programs that drive merchant engagement and adoption at scale
  • Collaborate with sales, customer success, enablement, and partnership teams to ensure message consistency and alignment
  • Analyze product adoption to inform optimization strategies and identify growth levers
  • Develop messaging and materials for key client-facing moments, including bi-annual roadmap meetings with top merchants
  • Operate with agility and drive execution, navigating ambiguity with confidence and bringing clarity to complex, cross-functional projects
  • Leverage business and product acumen to shape GTM and product decisions that align with company objectives
  • Collaborate across teams to drive alignment, building strong relationships with key stakeholders and ensuring tight alignment on GTM plans and product initiatives
  • Serve as a champion of Affirm's values and culture, fostering collaboration, transparency, and innovation within the team and across the organization

What We Are Looking For

  • 7+ years of experience in product marketing, product management, or a similar role, ideally in a payments or fintech environment
  • Proven track record of leading successful go-to-market initiatives and driving business growth
  • Strong product intuition, strategic thinking, and a bias for action
  • Deep customer and competitive insights, with the ability to analyze complex data sets and uncover actionable insights
  • Excellent collaboration and communication skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with cross-functional stakeholders
  • Strong business and product acumen, with a nuanced understanding of revenue and cost drivers
  • Experience with GTM strategy and execution, including segmentation, positioning, and product marketing
  • Familiarity with tools such as Excel, and experience with data analysis and interpretation
