## About the Role The Product Marketing Manager at Cohere plays a pivotal role in driving the adoption of AI products, focusing on strategies that enhance business growth and market competitiveness. This role requires a unique blend of technical acumen, marketing expertise, and the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams. Day-to-day, the Product Marketing Manager will be at the forefront of developing and executing go-to-market strategies, ensuring that Cohere's AI products are positioned for maximum impact across all stages of the buyer and customer journey. This involves working closely with product managers to understand the value proposition of each product, devising marketing campaigns that drive demand, and ensuring consistency in brand voice and tone across all content. As a key member of the marketing team, the Product Marketing Manager will also be responsible for optimizing marketing strategies, managing product launches, developing sales enablement materials, and collaborating with internal and external stakeholders to drive product innovation. This is a fast-paced environment that demands flexibility, creativity, and a strong sense of ownership and conviction. ## What You Will Do - Develop and execute comprehensive marketing strategies for AI products to drive adoption and business growth.

  • Lead the strategy and go-to-market for product positioning and competitive differentiation across all stages of the buyer and customer journey.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including software developers, data scientists, marketing teams, sales staff, and senior company leadership, to ensure successful execution of all marketing initiatives.
  • Work with product managers to understand the key value proposition and target markets, devising marketing campaigns that will drive demand.
  • Devise and execute on marketing campaigns, promotions, content marketing initiatives, and build sales trainings/collateral.
  • Ensure consistency in brand voice and tone across all content.
  • Collaborate with internal teams and external partners to deliver content on time and aligned with business objectives.
  • Oversee strategic product launches from beta through GA, ensuring targets are met.
  • Enable sales teams at all levels on Cohere’s value proposition and messaging.
  • Conduct competitive analysis to inform product development, pricing, and marketing activities.
## What We Are Looking For - Experience with Large Language Models (LLMs) and Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) or similar AI technologies.
  • 5+ years of product marketing experience in Enterprise software and SaaS.
  • High level of technical acumen and understanding of complex technologies.
  • Ability to operate in a fast-moving and constantly changing environment.
  • Strong interpersonal skills with a strong sense of conviction and diplomacy.
  • Strong communication skills, verbal and written.
  • Strong sense of ownership and the ability to work independently.
  • Experience with marketing automation tools and CRM systems.
  • Understanding of data-driven marketing and the ability to analyze campaign effectiveness.
## Nice to Have - Experience working with AI and machine learning products.
  • Knowledge of paid media and digital marketing strategies.
  • Experience with content creation and content marketing.
  • Certification in marketing or a related field.
  • Experience working in a remote or distributed team environment.
