About the Role
The Product Marketing Manager, Monetization at Figma will play a crucial role in shaping the company's monetization strategy and developing go-to-market plans for new product launches. This position requires a highly skilled professional with experience in product marketing, particularly in the areas of billing, pricing, and monetization. The successful candidate will be responsible for crafting clear and concise customer communications, developing go-to-market strategies, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to drive business growth.As a key member of the product marketing team, the Product Marketing Manager, Monetization will work closely with the Product Growth and Monetization teams to develop and execute marketing strategies that drive revenue growth. This will involve analyzing market trends, identifying opportunities for growth, and developing targeted marketing campaigns to reach key customer segments.
Figma's platform is used by some of the world's largest companies, and the Product Marketing Manager, Monetization will be responsible for developing marketing strategies that meet the needs of these enterprise customers. This will involve working closely with the sales team to develop targeted marketing campaigns, as well as collaborating with the product team to develop new features and functionality that meet the needs of enterprise customers.
What You Will Do
- Develop and execute go-to-market strategies for new product launches, including external communications, messaging, and launch planning
- Craft clear and concise customer communications to help admins and buyers navigate complex product changes
- Collaborate with the Product Growth and Monetization teams to develop and execute marketing strategies that drive revenue growth
- Develop targeted marketing campaigns to reach key customer segments, including enterprise customers
- Work closely with the sales team to develop sales enablement materials and training programs
- Analyze market trends and identify opportunities for growth
- Develop and execute marketing strategies to drive customer retention and upsell
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product, sales, and customer success, to drive business growth
- Develop and manage budgets for marketing campaigns and programs
- Measure and analyze campaign effectiveness, making data-driven decisions to optimize marketing strategies
What We Are Looking For
- 5+ years of experience in product marketing, with a focus on monetization and enterprise sales
- Proven track record of developing and executing successful go-to-market strategies
- Experience crafting clear and concise customer communications, particularly in the areas of billing, pricing, and monetization
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze market trends and identify opportunities for growth
- Experience working with cross-functional teams, including product, sales, and customer success
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate with stakeholders at all levels
- Experience with marketing automation platforms and tools, such as Marketo or Pardot
- Experience with data analysis and metrics, including Google Analytics and SQL

- Experience with consumption-based or usage-based pricing models
- Background marketing to admin, IT, or procurement personas at large enterprises
- Experience with AI product marketing or marketing AI-powered features
