About the Role

The Product Marketing Manager will play a pivotal role in crafting the external narrative of Perplexity's products, driving their adoption, and fueling growth. This position requires a strategic mindset, as you'll be the bridge between product development and market impact. Day-to-day, you'll work closely with cross-functional teams, including sales, product, and marketing, to ensure launches are systematic and impactful.

The role is based in San Francisco but offers remote work options, providing flexibility and work-life balance. As a key member of the marketing team, you'll report to the Director of Marketing and collaborate with various stakeholders to drive product success.

What You Will Do

  • Collaborate with sales teams to equip them with the tools, training, and content needed to successfully pitch products to customers.
  • Work closely with product teams to understand product roadmaps, features, and benefits, and translate these into market-facing stories.
  • Design and implement metrics to measure the success of product launches and marketing campaigns, using data to inform future strategies.
  • Lead the development of sales enablement materials, including competitive analyses, product positioning, and customer success stories.
  • Manage and maintain a keen understanding of the competitive landscape and market trends, applying this insight to improve product marketing strategies.
  • Develop and manage budgets for product marketing initiatives, ensuring ROI is maximized.
  • Foster strong relationships with key stakeholders, including product managers, sales leaders, and customer success teams, to ensure alignment and effective execution of product marketing strategies.
