About the Role
The Product Marketing Manager, Pricing role at Stripe is a critical position that requires a deep understanding of the company's products, pricing strategies, and market trends. As a key member of the Product Marketing team, you will be responsible for developing and executing pricing and monetization strategies that drive revenue growth, improve customer experience, and increase product adoption. What You Will Do
- Develop and execute pricing and monetization strategies that drive revenue growth, improve customer experience, and increase product adoption
- Conduct market research and competitor analysis to inform pricing decisions and stay ahead of the competition
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Product, Pricing, Sales, and Partnerships, to inform product strategy and drive go-to-market efforts
- Develop and maintain pricing playbooks, including pricing strategies, value propositions, and sales enablement tools
- Work closely with the Growth Product team to run pricing experiments and drive adoption of new products and features
- Develop and deliver pricing and product training to sales and customer-facing teams
- Analyze customer feedback and market trends to identify opportunities for pricing optimization and improvement
- Partner with the Product team to develop and launch new products and features that meet customer needs and drive revenue growth
- Stay up-to-date on industry trends, competitor activity, and market developments to ensure Stripe's pricing strategies remain competitive and effective
What We Are Looking For
- 3+ years of experience in product marketing, pricing, or a related field, with a focus on fintech or payments
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze complex data sets and develop actionable insights
- Excellent communication and storytelling skills, with the ability to communicate complex pricing concepts to both internal and external audiences
- Experience with market research, competitor analysis, and pricing strategy development
- Strong collaboration and influencing skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams
- Experience with Excel and other data analysis tools, with the ability to develop and maintain complex pricing models and analytics
- Strong understanding of customer needs and market trends, with the ability to develop and execute pricing strategies that meet customer needs and drive revenue growth
- Experience with pricing experimentation and A/B testing, with the ability to analyze results and develop actionable insights
