About the Role
As a Product Operations Specialist at Ramp, you will play a critical role in shaping the company's accounting, integrations, and stack workflows. Your primary focus will be on reducing customer friction, improving product quality, and enhancing the overall user experience. You will work closely with cross-functional teams, including product, engineering, and design, to identify areas for improvement and develop effective solutions.The successful candidate will have a deep understanding of accounting principles, ERP integrations, and fintech workflows. You will be responsible for capturing, analyzing, and prioritizing customer feedback, as well as partnering with internal teams to translate this feedback into actionable product requirements.
Ramp's product operations team is dedicated to building and scaling workflows that enable customers to close their books faster, maintain accurate financials, and seamlessly connect Ramp to their ERP and accounting stack. As a Product Operations Specialist, you will be an integral part of this team, driving process improvements and leveraging AI tools to automate processes and build products.
What You Will Do
- Own the voice-of-customer loop for your surfaces, systematically capturing, analyzing, and prioritizing feedback from CX, Sales, and direct customer channels
- Partner with Product, Engineering, and Design to translate customer feedback into actionable product requirements and specs
- Own launch operations for new features as they move from Alpha to GA
- Directly ship product improvements (UX fixes and paper cuts) using AI tools, owning your own backlog of customer friction reduction
- Use AI to automate processes and build products to enable teams to ship faster while maintaining a high quality bar
- Develop and maintain tight feedback loops with customers and customer-facing internal teams
- Analyze data to size opportunities and identify trends in adoption and support
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive process improvements and product building
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and emerging technologies in fintech and product operations
What We Are Looking For
- 3+ years of experience in product operations, product management, or a customer-facing analytical role supporting B2B SaaS
- Proficiency using data to size opportunities and analyze adoption and support trends
- Ability to translate qualitative feedback into crisp requirements and operational processes
- Comfort working in ambiguous, technically complex spaces and driving clarity across multiple stakeholders
- Strong problem-solving, prioritization, and communication skills, with a bias to ship improvements quickly and measure impact
- Experience with accounting concepts, such as general ledger, journal entries, reconciliation, and month-end close
- Familiarity with ERP systems, such as NetSuite, QuickBooks, or Sage Intacct
- Knowledge of fintech workflows and payment processing systems
Nice to Have
- Hands-on experience with ERPs or accounting close management tools
- Experience with accounting concepts, such as financial statement analysis and budgeting
- Familiarity with AI tools, such as Claude Code, to accelerate work and make product improvements
