This role is pivotal in ensuring the alignment of policy capabilities with the company's overall priorities and the evolving needs of other platforms. The successful candidate will have a deep understanding of how the policy platform supports the USRM PL business products and will be responsible for defining, building alignment, and driving the execution of enhancements to the platform.

Day-to-day, this role entails working closely with multiple stakeholders, including Claims, Servicing, and other departments, to understand their needs and translate them into clear, prioritized product direction. The Product Owner will lead multiple squads supporting the same software product, ensuring alignment, coherence, and consistent execution across teams. The role is part of a modernizing and evolving policy platform environment, where the ability to think strategically about the future of policy capabilities while delivering near-term value is essential. The company's hybrid work schedule, with the option for remote work, offers flexibility for candidates who value work-life balance and are looking to join a dynamic team.

What You Will Do

  • Own and manage personal lines software products within a policy capability, such as Policy Lifecycle Management, Policy Issuance, or Policy Provisions Management.
  • Define and drive a short-term tactical and long-term strategic policy roadmap, aligned to organizational priorities, growing needs of other platforms, and the transformation of the policy ecosystem through the USRM Frontier program.

  • Collaborate with stakeholders, leadership, and Technology partners to create product vision and alignment with strategic priorities; communicate product and portfolio vision to squads and cross-functional teams outside the portfolio.
  • Own and maintain a Policy software product backlog, accountable for its contents, prioritization, and acceptance criteria.
  • Ensure clear, actionable user stories across multiple squads.
  • Develop and maintain both short-term (1-year / 4 program increment) and long-term (3-year) product roadmaps that reflect stakeholder needs, technical dependencies, and strategic platform direction.
  • Set priorities and actively participate in squad-level and portfolio program increment planning.
