About the Role
The Product Owner role at ProgressSoft is a critical position that requires a unique blend of technical, business, and interpersonal skills. As a Product Owner, you will be responsible for understanding the overall product vision and direction, and providing guidance to the development team to ensure that the product meets the required standards. You will work closely with stakeholders to gather requirements, prioritize product backlogs, and ensure that the product is delivered on time and within budget.The role entails attending daily standups, planning, reviews, and retrospectives, as well as participating in the software design process with the development team. You will be responsible for documenting and demonstrating solutions, authoring high-quality product documentation, and conducting backlog grooming and management.

What You Will Do
- Understand the overall product vision and direction
- Provide guidance to the development team to ensure that the product meets the required standards
- Attend daily standups, planning, reviews, and retrospectives
- Participate in the software design process with the development team
- Document and demonstrate solutions
- Author high-quality product documentation
- Conduct backlog grooming and management
- Prioritize product backlogs
- Elicit and gather requirements from stakeholders
- Analyze the impact of new requirements and changes
- Estimate the effort needed for delivery
What We Are Looking For
- Previous working experience as a Product Owner or Business Analyst
- BSc in Computer Science, Engineering, or a relevant field
- Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal skills in French and English
- In-depth knowledge of Agile/Scrum processes and principles
- Certification in Agile/Scrum is a plus
- Outstanding communication, presentation, and leadership skills
- Excellent team player with excellent organizational and time management skills
- Sharp analytical, problem-solving, and research skills
- Attention to detail
- Excellent knowledge of UML
- Excellent knowledge of building APIs and services using REST, Soap, etc.
- Excellent knowledge of project management tools such as Gitlab, JIRA, etc.
