About the Role

The Professional Education Relations Associate role is a remote position within Abbott's Cardiac Rhythm Management Division, a global leader in cardiac rhythm technologies. This role plays a crucial part in providing clinical and professional expertise for professional education programs, focusing on innovative technologies that improve the treatment of heart arrhythmias. The successful candidate will work closely with healthcare professionals, sales and marketing leaders, and the professional education team to design, develop, and execute education programs that align with business initiatives.

As a key member of the team, the Professional Education Relations Associate will identify subject matter experts, manage key opinion leader relationships, and contribute to the strategy and development of education programs. What You Will Do

  • Identify and engage subject matter experts for speaking and providing peer-to-peer training
  • Manage key opinion leader relationships for professional education engagements
  • Develop and maintain a faculty database and facilitate speaker's bureau
  • Establish relationships with clinicians at all levels, including fellows, electrophysiologists, cardiologists, and allied health professionals
  • Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to gather inputs and feedback during program analysis
  • Provide clinical and professional subject matter expertise for the design and development of professional education strategies and programs
  • Partner with the sales and marketing teams to align initiatives and measure impact
  • Support the Professional Education Manager and team during programs and as needed
  • Ensure positive customer, trainee, and trainer experiences and maintain message consistency at programs
  • Understand and articulate all Office of Ethics and Compliance policies and procedures
  • Comply with global regulatory relations and requirements, company policies, and operating procedures

What We Are Looking For

  • Experience in professional education relations or a related field
  • Strong clinical and professional expertise in cardiac rhythm management or a related area
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and project management skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a remote environment and collaborate with global teams
  • Proficiency in Excel and other Microsoft Office tools
  • Experience in managing databases and facilitating speaker's bureaus
