About the Role

The Professional Learning Community (PLC) Facilitator role at EdConnective is a pivotal part-time, hourly position that ensures educators receive the support they need to excel, thereby benefiting students through enhanced instruction. This remote role involves guiding educator development by facilitating highly effective PLCs among teachers, instructional staff, and K-12 leaders. The hours will vary based on project needs, offering flexibility for the right candidate.

The PLC Facilitator will work closely with various stakeholders, including educators, leaders, and internal teams, to design and deliver effective learning experiences. This involves not only facilitating meetings but also developing strong, trusted relationships with K-12 educators and leaders. The role requires a deep understanding of educational settings, the ability to communicate actionable strategies for growth, and the capacity to build positive rapport with partner schools and districts.

What You Will Do

  • Facilitate highly effective and collaborative Professional Learning Community meetings among groups of teachers, instructional staff, and/or K-12 leaders.
  • Build strong, trusted relationships with K-12 educators and leaders rooted in value, clarity, and results.
  • Establish rapport and strong professional relationships with internal team members, including the EdConnective coaching team, sales team, and success team.
  • Develop open lines of communication to discuss questions and needs proactively.
  • Maintain accurate and timely participant records, including meeting reports and usage data, to ensure timely delivery of services and high-quality educator experiences.
  • Proactively identify, generate solutions for, and address customer concerns or roadblocks to ensure sustained satisfaction and account retention.
  • Design and deliver regular reporting and communications to customers to highlight progress, emerging trends, and program impact.
  • Create EdConnective advocates by turning happy customers into power users and promoters.
  • Communicate trends and insights gained from PLC facilitation to the internal EdConnective team to facilitate retention and expansion.

What We Are Looking For

  • Experienced educators with a background in classroom teaching or instructional coaching.
  • For Teacher PLCs, 5+ years in a classroom teaching role with demonstrated effectiveness in improving student outcomes.
  • Previous instructional coaching experience is preferred.
  • For Instructional Coach PLCs, 2+ years of experience.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills to build and maintain relationships with educators and leaders.
  • Ability to facilitate efficient and effective PLC meetings and communicate actionable strategies for growth.
  • Experience with educational technology and platforms, such as Salesforce, is a plus.
  • A deep understanding of educational settings and the challenges faced by educators and leaders.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing project needs.

Nice to Have

  • Experience in multiple roles, such as teaching and coaching, for a deeper understanding of educational needs.
  • Certification in instructional coaching or a related field.
  • Experience with project management tools and technologies to enhance organizational skills.
  • Knowledge of adult learning principles and how to apply them in professional development settings.
