About the Role
The SAP HCM Payroll Lead Consultant role at Strada Inc. is pivotal in ensuring the successful deployment of SAP payroll projects for clients across Germany, Austria, and Switzerland. This position involves working closely with cross-functional teams to understand client requirements, propose effective solutions, and lead the technical and functional implementation of payroll projects.As a lead consultant, you will be responsible for capturing and documenting client requirements, creating relevant work packages, and ensuring that project deliverables are completed on time and within scope. Your expertise in SAP HCM & Payroll configuration will be crucial in providing subject matter expertise for all payroll-related technical and functional issues.
The role is part of Strada Inc.'s Professional Services Payroll Consulting Team, which collaborates with pre-sales, sales, and functional teams to deliver payroll projects and maintenance services to enterprise clients. You will have the opportunity to contribute to the growth and success of these clients, working on meaningful projects that span industries and regions.
What You Will Do
- Partner with clients to understand their current payroll requirements and propose effective Strada solutions
- Capture and document client requirements and create relevant work packages
- Lead the solution design, review, and alignment of deliverables to ensure on-time and in-scope delivery
- Collaborate with cross-functional work-streams to provide support and guidance for data migrations and operational activities
- Provide subject matter expertise for all SAP payroll-related technical and functional issues
- Act as the primary escalation point for issues related to implementation and system configuration
- Ensure proficiency and quality in the configuration, use, and deployment of OM/PA/PY/TM modules
- Work with internal cross-functional teams to ensure successful project delivery
- Collaborate with Project Managers, team members, and Service Delivery Management
- Mentor junior colleagues
- Support the Sales and Pre-Sales teams as needed
What We Are Looking For
- Bachelor or Master degree with a Business or Technical emphasis, or equivalent
- Demonstrated exceptional SAP Payroll Functional and Technical implementation and configuration experience
- Extensive and proven SAP HCM & Payroll configuration skills, including Evaluation and Schemas
- Experience with German, Austrian, or Swiss payroll, including schemas, sickness process, PCRs, wage type creation, and basic pay configuration
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to troubleshoot and resolve HCM & Payroll problems
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment
- Proficiency in Excel and other relevant tools
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities
Nice to Have
- Experience with cloud-based technology and international workforce management
- Knowledge of other SAP modules, such as OM, PA, PY, and TM
- Experience with project management tools and methodologies
- Certification in SAP HCM or a related field
