About the Role

The Profissional SRE/DevOps role at Luby is a unique opportunity for a seasoned professional to join a team of innovators and shape the company's cloud infrastructure. As a key member of the team, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and managing the company's cloud-based systems, with a focus on AWS and Terraform. Your expertise will be crucial in ensuring the scalability, security, and efficiency of these systems, and you will work closely with the development team to identify and implement new solutions.

What You Will Do

  • Provision and manage infrastructure in AWS using Terraform
  • Automate the creation and configuration of cloud environments following best practices for Infrastructure as Code (IaC)
  • Create, configure, and administer Kubernetes clusters using Amazon EKS
  • Provision and manage AWS services such as EC2, RDS, Cognito, VPC, Load Balancers, and IAM
  • Configure and maintain database environments, including PostgreSQL
  • Create and manage VPC networks, subnets, security groups, and access policies
  • Provision AWS accounts and services for different environments (e.g., dev, staging, and production)
  • Support development teams in configuring and operating cloud environments
  • Ensure best practices for security, scalability, and availability of infrastructure
  • Support the standardization and documentation of cloud infrastructure
  • Monitor and optimize cloud resources for performance and cost efficiency

What We Are Looking For

  • Solid experience with AWS
  • Practical experience with Terraform
  • Experience with Infrastructure as Code
  • Experience with Kubernetes, preferably Amazon EKS
  • Experience with provisioning and managing cloud environments
  • Experience with configuring VPC networks
  • Experience with AWS services such as EC2, RDS, IAM, and Cognito
  • Experience with PostgreSQL databases
  • Experience with Linux environments
  • Knowledge of security best practices in cloud computing
  • Strong problem-solving skills and a hands-on approach

Nice to Have

  • Experience with other cloud platforms (e.g., Azure, Google Cloud)
  • Familiarity with containerization using Docker
