Job Description

About the Role

As a Program Analyst at General Dynamics Information Technology, you will be an integral part of the team supporting the company's Navy customer activities at Point Mugu. Your primary responsibility will be to perform complex and analytical tasks in support of multiple programs, projects, and customers. This role requires a deep understanding of government contracts, operations, and planning, as well as excellent communication and leadership skills.

The success of our projects depends on the ability to develop and execute plans, budgets, and schedules that meet the program, project, and contractual requirements. As a Program Analyst, you will be expected to monitor and report performance against these plans, ensuring that all objectives are met. Your expertise will be crucial in supporting the development of business activities and participating in special projects as required.

What You Will Do

  • Develop plans, budgets, and schedules to meet program, project, and contractual requirements
  • Monitor and report performance against plans to ensure program, project, and contractual, cost, and schedule objectives are met
  • Interact regularly with customers and other industry representatives to ensure conformance to customer and contractual requirements
  • Support the development of business activities
  • Participate in special projects as required
  • Provide guidance, training, and leadership to less-experienced analysts
  • Perform a variety of complex and analytical tasks in support of a multiple programs, projects, and customers
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant laws, regulations, and company policies

What We Are Looking For

  • BA/BS (or equivalent experience) preferred
  • 5+ years of related experience
  • Strong knowledge of government contracts, Microsoft Office, operations, planning, and supply chain management
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to obtain and maintain a Secret clearance
  • US Citizenship Required
  • Experience with project management and budgeting
  • Familiarity with Navy customer activities and Point Mugu operations

  • Certification in project management or a related field
