Job Description

About the Role

As a Program Analyst at Leidos, you will play a vital role in supporting the Program Manager with the execution of a highly complex program. You will work closely with the operational team to ensure seamless project delivery, focusing on developing comprehensive schedules, tracking status, and ensuring timely delivery of products.

The role entails working independently and collaboratively to achieve shared goals, with a strong emphasis on customer satisfaction and team cohesion. Your expertise in Excel will be invaluable in managing metrics, preparing briefings, and developing technical data for reports.

What You Will Do

  • Help develop Work Breakdown Structures (WBSs) and schedules to ensure project timelines are met
  • Track the status of Contract Data Requirements Lists (CDRLs) and work products to guarantee timely delivery
  • Review team outputs to ensure high-quality products are delivered to the customer
  • Clearly communicate with the Program Manager on workload status and identify potential issues early
  • Assist with subcontractor management, including developing Statements of Work (SOWs) and monitoring performance
  • Manage metrics for monthly status reports and prepare briefings
  • Support the Program Manager with program planning, cost estimating, and technical writing
  • Develop graphs and trend analysis for various technical documents and CDRLs
  • Assist in establishing and maintaining Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), user documentation, and training materials
  • Participate in change management activities, including agile software development methodologies
  • Assist with managing Jira Boards and developing automation to generate reports

What We Are Looking For

  • A Bachelor's degree with 8+ years of relevant experience or a Master's degree with 6-10 years of experience
  • U.S. citizenship and an active DoD Secret clearance
  • Experience managing and leading small teams
  • Ability to lead teams in developing technical solutions that require collaboration and deep technical knowledge
  • Experience with technical writing and understanding technical documentation requirements
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills to collaborate with customer representatives and domain experts
  • Demonstrated ability to diagnose complex system problems and develop innovative solutions
  • Experience with trend analysis, working with datasets to create graphs, and using Excel for data management

Nice to Have

  • Experience with Agile project management methodologies
  • Familiarity with Jira and automation tools for report generation
  • Knowledge of program planning, cost estimating, and technical writing best practices
  • Previous experience working in a remote or flexible work environment
