Job Description

About the Role

The Program Associate role at GoingVC is a full-time, remote position that entails supporting the management team in running the flagship 16-week education program. The program is designed to help individuals take the next steps in their venture capital careers or launch their own fund. As a Program Associate, you will be responsible for the day-to-day execution of the program, including cohort launches, onboarding, member communications, and program logistics. You will also have the opportunity to work with the team to grow the community, engage with members, and bridge connections across the ecosystem.

The program is aimed at providing a concrete pathway into venture capital, and the company has seen significant growth since its founding in 2016. With the acquisition of VC Stack and Startup & VC, the company has expanded its reach and is now looking to build a strong team to support its mission. The Program Associate will be an integral part of this team, working closely with the management team and other stakeholders to ensure the success of the program.

The role is based in the United States and will require occasional travel for events and meetings. The ideal candidate will have experience in program operations, community engagement, and a passion for venture capital.

What You Will Do

  • Own the day-to-day execution of GoingVC's flagship 16-week education program
  • Coordinate cohort launches, onboarding, member communications, and program logistics
  • Maintain and improve educational materials, assignments, participation tracking, and program resources
  • Manage program calendars, speaker schedules, office hours, mentorship programs, and community events
  • Ensure all cohort programming is delivered on time and at a high level of quality
  • Track member engagement, participation, feedback, and program outcomes to drive continuous improvement
  • Support the execution of GoingVC's Investor Program and other educational initiatives as needed
  • Build meaningful relationships with cohort members, alumni, investors, and ecosystem partners
  • Serve as a primary point of contact for members throughout their GoingVC experience
  • Facilitate introductions, networking opportunities, and community engagement initiatives

What We Are Looking For

  • 2+ years of experience in program operations, community engagement, or a related field
  • Strong organizational and project management skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Proficiency in Excel and other productivity tools
  • Passion for venture capital and education
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
  • Ability to adapt to changing priorities and deadlines

Nice to Have

  • Experience with Airtable, Notion, Slack, Google Workspace, Typeform, Kit/ConvertKit, Zapier
  • Knowledge of the venture capital industry and its trends
