About the Role
The Program Management Director role at Bentley Systems is a unique opportunity for an experienced program manager to lead cross-organizational programs and initiatives. As a key member of the team, you will be responsible for providing strategic guidance to teams and overseeing the progress of operationalization of programs and initiatives. This role requires excellent leadership skills, the ability to manage multiple software development product initiatives, and a strong background in driving operational excellence. The ideal candidate will have experience in managing cross-functional teams, process automation, and change management.The role is based in the US or Canada and offers a hybrid or home-based work arrangement, providing the flexibility to work remotely. What You Will Do
- Initiate and lead program and project teams for optimal return on investment
- Coordinate and delegate cross-project initiatives
- Operationalize the inter-connected project
- Prepare inter-connected project charter and list expected outcomes
- Define all processes and ground rules for the initiatives
- Develop a RACI matrix and communicate the roles and responsibilities to the relying parties
- Drive process automation to the extent that is feasible using tools available within the company
- Organize training for relevant stakeholders
- Publish reports to provide ongoing tracking of the initiative to measure important metrics
- Oversee multiple project teams, ensuring program goals are reached
- Define individual project goals and success metrics
- Identify key requirements needed from cross-functional teams and external vendors
- Navigate a complex landscape with sometimes conflicting principles
- Develop and control deadlines, budgets, and scope
- Apply change, risk, and resource management skills to mitigate upcoming issues and minimize potential risks
What We Are Looking For
- 5-7 years of project/program/management experience
- Excellent written and oral English communication skills
- Experience in problem-solving within fast-paced and constantly changing environments
- Experience working cross-functionally with cloud computing engineering, sales, and marketing teams or related technical fields
- Advanced analytical, exceptional leadership, and excellent problem-solving skills with an expressed focus on quality
- Great skills to advocate for proven standardized processes and methodologies
- Great knowledge of performance evaluation, change management, and Agile methodology principles/PRINCE2
- Demonstrated ability to collaborate on enterprise-wide initiatives and/or stakeholder groups
- Enthusiastic, adoptive, and open-minded personal traits
- Great organizational and time management skills

- Certification in program management
- Experience with Excel and other project management tools
