About the Role

The Program Manager, Community position at Airtable is a unique opportunity to make a significant impact on the company's customer community programs. As a key member of the Digital Programs team, you'll be responsible for scaling and evolving Airtable's community initiatives, focusing on user groups, community engagement, and operational foundation. Your day-to-day will involve collaborating with cross-functional teams, developing playbooks and templates, and creating scalable systems to support community growth.

The Digital Programs team is dedicated to helping customers learn, adopt, and succeed with Airtable. As a Program Manager, you'll play a critical role in driving customer engagement and meaningful AI adoption. Your work will have a direct impact on Airtable's mission to empower people closest to the work to accelerate their most critical business processes.

What You Will Do

  • Scale Airtable Builder Crews (User Groups) by recruiting, onboarding, and supporting Builder Crew leaders
  • Develop playbooks, templates, and operational processes for local events
  • Partner with internal teams on event promotion, measurement, and follow-up
  • Create scalable systems to enable community leaders to independently run successful programs
  • Identify opportunities to launch new regional, industry, or persona-based Builder Crews
  • Drive community engagement initiatives across Airtable Community and social channels
  • Expand Airtable's presence and participation on Reddit and other community platforms
  • Identify and amplify customer success stories, best practices, and AI use cases
  • Develop campaigns and programs to encourage participation, knowledge sharing, and advocacy
  • Monitor community health metrics and recommend improvements

What We Are Looking For

  • 3-7+ years of experience in community management, customer programs, customer education, operations, or related fields
  • Demonstrated experience building and scaling community programs, such as user groups, ambassador programs, advocacy initiatives, or community engagement initiatives
  • Strong program management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks, manage multiple projects, and meet deadlines
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work with cross-functional teams
  • Experience with community platforms, such as Reddit, Discord, or Slack
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze data and make informed decisions

Nice to Have

  • Experience with AI-powered tools and technologies
  • Knowledge of digital marketing principles and practices
  • Familiarity with project management tools, such as Asana, Trello, or Jira
