About the Role
The Program Manager, Fulfillment Operations will play a crucial role in leading SupplyHouse.com's fulfillment network, overseeing the launch of new facilities, relocations, and automation system deployments. This role will require close collaboration with various teams, including Operations, IT, Finance, and external vendors to ensure successful project execution. As a key member of the corporate Operations Team, the Program Manager will report to the Manager of Program Management and contribute to the company's growth and customer satisfaction.The ideal candidate will have experience in managing complex projects, with a strong understanding of supply chain operations and logistics. They will be able to work effectively in a remote environment, communicating BEAUTIFULLLY with cross-functional teams and stakeholders to drive results. What You Will Do
- Lead the launch of new facilities, including site selection, design, and construction
- Develop and execute project plans, timelines, and budgets for fulfillment operations initiatives
- Collaborate with Operations, IT, and Finance teams to ensure seamless integration of new facilities and automation systems
- Coordinate with external vendors and suppliers to procure equipment and services
- Manage and analyze data to optimize fulfillment operations and identify areas for improvement
- Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including customers, suppliers, and team members
- Identify and mitigate risks associated with fulfillment operations, including supply chain disruptions and equipment failures
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in supply chain management and logistics
- Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance fulfillment operations and customer satisfaction
What We Are Looking For
- 5+ years of experience in operations management, supply chain management, or a related field
- Proven track record of managing complex projects and leading cross-functional teams
- Strong understanding of supply chain operations, logistics, and fulfillment processes
- Excellent communication, problem-solving, and analytical skills
- Ability to work effectively in a remote environment and collaborate with distributed teams
- Experience with project management tools and software, such as Asana, Trello, or MS Project
- Strong data analysis and interpretation skills, with experience using tools like Excel or Tableau
- Bachelor's degree in a related field, such as Business, Supply Chain Management, or Industrial Engineering
Nice to Have
- Experience with automation systems and technology, such as robotics or conveyor systems
- Knowledge of lean principles and continuous improvement methodologies
- Certification in supply chain management or a related field, such as APICS or ISM
