As a key member of the team, you will be responsible for managing remote externship programs, coaching students, and helping them achieve their career goals. This role is perfect for those who are passionate about education and career training, and who have a proven track record of managing programs and teams.The day-to-day responsibilities of this role will include preparing and delivering sessions, coaching students, and helping them work on projects for partner companies. You will also be responsible for achieving a high program completion rate and student satisfaction. The ideal candidate will have strong verbal and written communication skills, be detail-oriented and organized, and have the ability to work independently.
As a program manager at Paragon One, you will be part of a team that is dedicated to helping students get professional experience easily, explore careers, build their resumes, and land jobs. You will have the opportunity to work with a variety of partner companies, including Facebook, PwC, Pfizer, National Geographic, HP, Snapchat, and Cloudflare.
What You Will Do
- Manage remote externship programs and ensure high program completion rates
- Coach students and help them achieve their career goals
- Prepare and deliver sessions to students
- Help students work on projects for partner companies
- Achieve an average rating of 9.0+ out of 10 on sessions facilitated
- Work with partner companies to ensure successful project outcomes
- Collaborate with the Paragon One team to continuously improve programs and services
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in program management and education
- Develop and maintain relationships with partner companies and stakeholders
What We Are Looking For
- Completed a Bachelor's degree (MBA completed or in the course is a plus)
- 3+ years of professional experience in program management, project management, or management/strategy consulting
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Strong project/program management skills
- Team-building skills and ability to work with diverse stakeholders
- Attention to detail and organizational skills
- Proactivity and ability to work independently
- Flexibility and adaptability in a fast-paced environment
- Experience with video conferencing software like Zoom
- Personal access to reliable technology and a stable wifi connection
