About the Role

The Program Manager role at Paragon One is a unique opportunity to make a significant impact on the lives of students and professionals alike. As a key member of the team, you will be responsible for managing remote externship programs, coaching students, and helping them achieve their career goals. The day-to-day responsibilities of this role will include preparing and delivering sessions, coaching students, and helping them work on projects for partner companies. You will also be responsible for achieving a high program completion rate and student satisfaction. The ideal candidate will have strong verbal and written communication skills, be detail-oriented and organized, and have the ability to work independently.

As a program manager at Paragon One, you will be part of a team that is dedicated to helping students get professional experience easily, explore careers, build their resumes, and land jobs. You will have the opportunity to work with a variety of partner companies, including Facebook, PwC, Pfizer, National Geographic, HP, Snapchat, and Cloudflare.

What You Will Do

  • Manage remote externship programs and ensure high program completion rates
  • Coach students and help them achieve their career goals
  • Prepare and deliver sessions to students
  • Help students work on projects for partner companies
  • Achieve an average rating of 9.0+ out of 10 on sessions facilitated
  • Work with partner companies to ensure successful project outcomes
  • Collaborate with the Paragon One team to continuously improve programs and services
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in program management and education
  • Develop and maintain relationships with partner companies and stakeholders

What We Are Looking For

  • Completed a Bachelor's degree (MBA completed or in the course is a plus)
  • 3+ years of professional experience in program management, project management, or management/strategy consulting
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong project/program management skills
  • Team-building skills and ability to work with diverse stakeholders
  • Attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Proactivity and ability to work independently
  • Flexibility and adaptability in a fast-paced environment
  • Experience with video conferencing software like Zoom
  • Personal access to reliable technology and a stable wifi connection
