About the Role

The Program Manager, People Operations Strategy, plays a pivotal role in driving Stripe's Global People Operations team towards a users-first operational scale roadmap. This involves leveraging AI and automation to enhance operational efficiency and resiliency. As a key member of the team, you will champion transformation efforts, centralize intake and capacity governance, and ensure that new initiatives are vetted for operational fit.

The Global People Operations team is the backbone of Stripe's talent lifecycle, overseeing a comprehensive global delivery model that encompasses foundational employee support to specialized operations. The team is looking for a strategic operations Program Manager to lead efforts in driving a users-first scale and transformation roadmap.

In this role, you will work closely with various stakeholders to ensure operational readiness for high-priority initiatives and drive higher levels of operational efficiency. Your expertise in Salesforce and Excel will be crucial in advancing the effectiveness and scalability of Stripe's global service model.

What You Will Do

  • Drive improvements in internal operating mechanisms to shift the People Ops team towards proactive, automation, and AI-driven operations.
  • Introduce and lead foundational capabilities in workforce forecasting, service enablement, and global operational strategy.
  • Transition the team from reactive ticket monitoring to proactive capacity management and build models to predict demand.
  • Design and lead the centralized intake process for all work entering the Global People Operations team.
  • Partner with People+ COEs, Strategy & Enablement, Process Optimization, Solutions, and Tech teams to ensure operational readiness.
  • Manage the deployment of ops SMEs and associates from the Global People Ops team into cross-functional projects.
  • Support the internal prioritization of the Global People Operations roadmap.
  • Ensure new initiatives are vetted for operational feasibility and capacity alignment before acceptance into the team's roadmap.
  • Act as the primary operational interface, translating broad strategy into actionable delivery plans.

What We Are Looking For

  • 5+ years of experience in operations, program management, or a related field, preferably in a fast-paced, tech-driven environment.
  • Strong expertise in Salesforce and Excel, with the ability to drive process improvements and automation.
  • Proven track record of driving operational efficiency and scalability in a global context.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to partner with cross-functional teams.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to predict demand and manage capacity.
  • Experience in workforce forecasting, service enablement, and global operational strategy.
  • Ability to work in a remote, distributed team environment and adapt to changing priorities.
