Job Description

About the Role

The Program Manager - Technology Capital Builds plays a critical role in designing and delivering technical solutions for capital build-outs, including new office buildouts and remodels, industrial labs, data centers, and secured facilities. This role requires strong project and program management capabilities, as well as excellent written and verbal communication skills. The ideal candidate will have a strong knowledge of the architectural design process, commercial real estate construction processes, and experience with vendor management.

The Program Manager will work closely with internal teams, construction, and related trades and vendors to ensure successful project delivery. This includes managing the design, bid, implementation, commissioning, and handover process for ISP connectivity, low-voltage cabling, and network infrastructure. The role also involves partnering with the ITAV team to design and implement audio-visual and video-conference systems, as well as working with the Corporate Security team to implement supporting infrastructure and network integration for access control, surveillance systems, and intrusion detection.

What You Will Do

  • Manage the design, bid, implementation, commissioning, and handover process for ISP connectivity, low-voltage cabling, and network infrastructure
  • Partner with the ITAV team to design and implement audio-visual and video-conference systems
  • Work with the Corporate Security team to implement supporting infrastructure and network integration for access control, surveillance systems, and intrusion detection
  • Develop drawing packages and specification narratives in support of project design and execution
  • Manage procurement and provide guidance to FP&A on budget and cost management
  • Identify, categorize, mitigate, and monitor project delivery risks
  • Manage project schedules, status updates, and executive communications for the builds portfolio
  • Partner with internal teams, construction, and related trades and vendors to ensure successful project delivery
  • Conduct site visits to monitor progress and ensure compliance with plans and specifications
  • Coordinate with vendors and stakeholders to resolve issues and ensure project timelines are met

What We Are Looking For

  • Strong project and program management capabilities
  • Strong knowledge of the architectural design process (schematic design, design development, construction documents)
  • Strong knowledge of commercial real estate construction processes
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Vendor management experience (vendor vetting, RFP and bid response, performance management, handover)
  • Understanding of mechanical power, cooling systems, and capacity planning
  • Ability to read construction and engineering plan drawings
  • PMP or equivalent project management certification
  • Experience with Excel and other project management tools

Nice to Have

  • Experience with data center design and construction
