Job Description
About the Role
As a Project Based Podcast Editor at Scale-X Solutions, you will play a crucial role in shaping the sound and style of their podcast episodes. Your primary responsibility will be to edit audio content, ensuring that each episode is engaging, informative, and of the highest quality. You will work on a project-based engagement, with the potential for ongoing work based on performance. The ideal candidate will have a keen ear for detail, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work independently in a remote setting.The podcast editor will be responsible for editing approximately 6 podcast episodes, with each episode released every 2 weeks. The episodes are around 30 minutes long, and you will have the flexibility to use your preferred editing software. Your goal will be to deliver polished final audio files within agreed timelines, ensuring that each episode meets the highest standards of quality.
The project will involve working closely with the Scale-X Solutions team, who will provide you with the necessary support and guidance throughout the project. You will be expected to submit your work for evaluation, and your performance will be assessed based on the quality of your edits, your ability to meet deadlines, and your overall professionalism.
What You Will Do
- Edit podcast audio episodes to ensure they are engaging, informative, and of the highest quality
- Remove unnecessary pauses, filler words, and background noise from audio recordings
- Improve the overall audio quality and flow of each episode
- Add intro, outro, and music to episodes as required
- Deliver polished final audio files within agreed timelines
- Work closely with the Scale-X Solutions team to ensure that each episode meets their expectations
- Submit your work for evaluation and feedback
- Collaborate with the team to ensure that each episode is optimized for maximum impact
- Ensure that all audio files are properly formatted and labeled
- Meet deadlines and deliver high-quality results in a fast-paced, remote work environment
