About the Role

The Project Leadership function at Parexel is a critical part of driving success for clients and advancing clinical research projects. As a Project Leader in the Biotech Division, you will be responsible for leading global clinical trials in oncology and other therapeutics. Your work will have a direct impact on the projects, teams, and clients you work with, while helping deliver projects that benefit patients.

What You Will Do

  • Lead global clinical trials in oncology and other therapeutics
  • Manage project scheduling, resource allocation, and budgeting
  • Coordinate team activities and ensure effective communication among team members
  • Develop and implement project plans, including risk management and mitigation strategies
  • Collaborate with clients to understand their needs and deliver tailored solutions
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and company policies
  • Analyze project data and provide insights to stakeholders
  • Develop and maintain relationships with clients, vendors, and external partners
  • Identify and implement process improvements to increase efficiency and quality
  • Manage and mentor junior team members to support their growth and development

What We Are Looking For

  • Undergraduate degree in a clinical or health-related field
  • Advanced degree preferred
  • Minimum 2+ years of experience leading global clinical trials in project management within a CRO, biotech, or pharma company
  • Experience with project scheduling, managing resources and budgets, and coordinating team activities
  • Knowledge of the full clinical development process, including regulatory submissions
  • Strong leadership and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities
  • Experience with Excel and other project management tools

Nice to Have

  • Experience working in a remote or virtual team environment
  • Knowledge of biotech or pharma industry trends and developments
