About the Role
The Project Leadership function at Parexel is a critical part of driving success for clients and advancing clinical research projects. As a Project Leader in the Biotech Division, you will be responsible for leading global clinical trials in oncology and other therapeutics. As a Project Leader, you will be part of a global team working together to achieve operational excellence and exceed client expectations. You will be responsible for managing day-to-day operations, coordinating team activities, and ensuring that projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality.
What You Will Do
- Lead global clinical trials in oncology and other therapeutics
- Manage project scheduling, resource allocation, and budgeting
- Coordinate team activities and ensure effective communication among team members
- Develop and implement project plans, including risk management and mitigation strategies
- Collaborate with clients to understand their needs and deliver tailored solutions
- Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and company policies
- Analyze project data and provide insights to stakeholders
- Develop and maintain relationships with clients, vendors, and external partners
- Identify and implement process improvements to increase efficiency and quality
- Manage and mentor junior team members to support their growth and development
What We Are Looking For
- Undergraduate degree in a clinical or health-related field
- Advanced degree preferred
- Minimum 2+ years of experience leading global clinical trials in project management within a CRO, biotech, or pharma company
- Experience with project scheduling, managing resources and budgets, and coordinating team activities
- Knowledge of the full clinical development process, including regulatory submissions
- Strong leadership and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities
- Experience with Excel and other project management tools
Nice to Have
- Experience working in a remote or virtual team environment
- Knowledge of biotech or pharma industry trends and developments
- Certification in project management or a related field
