What You Will Do

  • Perform tasks such as carpentry, metal framing, painting, masonry, electrical work, HVAC, plumbing, and landscaping to maintain U-Haul facilities
  • Respond promptly and efficiently to facility needs, utilizing tools and equipment as necessary
  • Collaborate on projects or work alone as needed, demonstrating excellent communication and problem-solving skills
  • Operate a motor vehicle, adhering to all local vehicular regulations and maintaining a good driving record
  • Utilize protective clothing or gear such as masks, goggles, gloves, or shields as necessary
  • Work in a variety of environments, including indoors and outdoors, and be able to lift a minimum of 50 lbs assisted or unassisted
  • Maintain a safe and organized work environment, adhering to all safety protocols and procedures
  • Communicate effectively with colleagues and management to ensure that facility needs are met
  • Participate in training and development programs to improve technical skills and knowledge

What We Are Looking For

  • Experience performing and utilizing tools and equipment in areas such as carpentry, metal framing, painting, masonry, electrical work, HVAC, plumbing, or landscaping
  • Ability to respond promptly and efficiently to facility needs, utilizing tools and equipment as necessary
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills, with the ability to collaborate on projects or work alone as needed
  • Valid driver's license and a good driving record, with the ability to operate a motor vehicle
  • Ability to work in a variety of environments, including indoors and outdoors, and be able to lift a minimum of 50 lbs assisted or unassisted
  • Experience with Excel and other technical software
  • Ability to maintain a safe and organized work environment, adhering to all safety protocols and procedures

  • Knowledge of facility maintenance and repair procedures, with the ability to troubleshoot and resolve issues
