About the Role

The Project Manager, Business Implementation, is a critical role within Internova Travel Group, focusing on the successful execution of new business implementations across the travel management sector. This position requires a blend of technical acumen, business acumen, and interpersonal skills to manage complex projects from inception to completion, ensuring they meet customer expectations and contribute to the company's growth. The role is integral to the company's mission to manage the complexities of connecting people so they can represent their brands in the most impactful way possible.

Day-to-day, the Project Manager will lead the implementation of new business, ensuring seamless execution and communication with various stakeholders, including sales, solutions, and operations teams. This role involves understanding the operational needs of the business, translating business requirements into scalable designs, and driving change control throughout the project lifecycle.

The Project Manager will work closely with cross-functional teams, including IT, to ensure the successful implementation of projects and to identify and mitigate risks. This role demands a high level of organization, strategic thinking, and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining attention to detail.

What You Will Do

  • Manage new business implementations from start to finish, ensuring they are delivered on time, within scope, and to the satisfaction of the customer.
  • Provide technical oversight of product installation environments and maintenance to ensure reliable performance.
  • Lead and manage the implementation of new business end-to-end, maintaining open communication with stakeholders.
  • Plan, lead, organize, and control multiple project initiatives according to approved scope and schedule.
  • Engage with sales, solutions, and operations teams to validate new business scope and ensure correct technologies are selected to meet customer requirements.
  • Build and design engineering structures that can scale with the company's strategy and define roles within the implementation team.
  • Understand and apply Operational Excellence principles, including Labor Management Systems, Work Force Optimization, and Performance Coaching & Observation.
  • Translate complex business requirements into robust, scalable designs and drive proper change control.
  • Implement business requirements through various tools and technologies.
  • Develop and execute ramp-up plans and schedules that meet customer requirements, identifying and mitigating risks.
  • Provide direction to cross-functional implementation teams and best practices to customers on deploying productions within their environment.
  • Collaborate with IT to sign off on and test Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
  • Ensure a smooth transition to operations post-go-live and ramp-up.
  • Interact with customer representatives, from senior operations to warehouse operations and end-users.
  • Collaborate with customer and operations leadership to ensure all processes are adhered to throughout implementation.
  • Work closely with project managers to identify potential issues and risks.
  • Create documentation for the transition from implementation to post-implementation support.
  • Assess and adapt to industry trends and changes, recommending improvements within the Engineering function.
  • Support Quality Driven Management techniques, encouraging data analysis to drive decision-making and development of improvements.

  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field, such as Business Administration, Project Management, or a related field.
