About the Role

The Project Manager position at Sigma Software is a pivotal role that involves leading the estimation process, defining project scope, timelines, and resource requirements for creative, graphic design, and web development projects. This includes developing detailed project plans and schedules, ensuring all phases are accounted for, from concept to delivery. The successful candidate will be responsible for monitoring project progress, tracking team effort, project hours, and deliverables to ensure efficient use of resources and adherence to timelines. As a leader, the Project Manager will coordinate with cross-functional teams, including designers, developers, and marketing specialists, to ensure smooth collaboration and alignment with project goals, timelines, and deliverables.

The role is based in Ukraine and requires a strong understanding of project management methodologies, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment. As part of the Design & Web Solutions Business Unit, the Project Manager will work closely with clients to understand their business needs and goals, collaborating with internal teams to recommend optimal solutions that align with client objectives and add value to their business. This role requires a results-driven and proactive individual who can manage multiple tasks simultaneously, lead cross-functional teams, and ensure the timely delivery of high-quality projects.

What You Will Do

  • Lead the estimation process, defining project scope, timelines, and resource requirements for creative, graphic design, and web development projects.
  • Develop detailed project plans and schedules, ensuring all phases are accounted for, from concept to delivery.
  • Monitor project progress, tracking team effort, project hours, and deliverables to ensure efficient use of resources and adherence to timelines.
  • Coordinate with cross-functional teams, including designers, developers, and marketing specialists, to ensure smooth collaboration and alignment with project goals, timelines, and deliverables.
  • Provide regular project status updates to stakeholders and management.
  • Lead and motivate the project team, providing guidance and support to ensure high performance and a positive work environment.
  • Ensure optimal utilization of team members by assigning tasks based on skills, availability, and project needs.
  • Balance workloads across the team to prevent burnout and maintain productivity.
  • Identify potential project risks early on, assess their impact, and develop mitigation strategies to minimize risks.
  • Proactively address issues as they arise, ensuring projects stay on track.
  • Ensure projects are executed efficiently and delivered within the agreed scope, budget, and timelines.
  • Maintain a high standard of quality in all deliverables, ensuring they meet both client and internal expectations.

What We Are Looking For

  • At least 3 years of project management experience in a dynamic environment.
  • Proficiency in Agile, Scrum, and Kanban methodologies and tools.
  • Strong organizational and multitasking skills.

  • Experience managing stakeholders and aligning team capabilities with client needs.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to meet tight deadlines while maintaining quality.

  • Proven track record of delivering projects aligned with business objectives.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to lead cross-functional teams.
  • Upper-Intermediate or higher level of English.
