About the Role
The Project Manager will play a crucial role in delivering high-quality timber construction projects across the East Coast, USA. As a key member of the team, the successful candidate will be responsible for leading projects from award to completion, ensuring that all aspects of the project are delivered safely, on time, and within budget. The role will require close collaboration with clients, architects, engineers, and other stakeholders to ensure that project objectives are met and that the company's reputation for excellence is maintained.The Project Manager will be working in a dynamic and fast-paced environment, with a strong focus on innovation and sustainability. What You Will Do
- Plan, direct, and lead the delivery of timber construction projects from award to completion
- Achieve safety, quality, cost, and schedule objectives
- Define tasks and required resources
- Prepare and manage project budgets, schedules of values, progress billing, and change orders
- Create schedules and coordinate company resources to meet project deliverables
- Understand project scope and contract terms to ensure full compliance
- Prepare RFQs, evaluate bids, prepare POs and subcontracts, set and track delivery milestones
- Track and report on project deliverables
- Lead quality assurance and provide onsite construction support
- Present reports to management on progress, problems, and solutions
- Manage project changes and delays to ensure that the company is fairly compensated
- Accurately estimate changes within contract requirements
- Evaluate and assess results of the project
- Manage Project Coordinator/Assistant Project Manager and delegation of responsibilities, when applicable
What We Are Looking For
- Strong organizational skills, including attention to detail and multi-tasking

- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Superior written and verbal communication skills
- Strong skills in Word, Excel, Procore, and MS Project (or similar scheduling software)
- Minimum of 3 years of construction-related project management experience
- Bachelor's degree in building science, construction management, or engineering (structural/civil focus preferred)
- PMP designation or be in process of obtaining (optional, but not required)
- Experience managing construction projects with values in excess of $5M
- Good command of the English language
Nice to Have
- Experience working with timber construction projects
- Knowledge of construction management software, such as Procore or similar
- Certification in project management, such as PMP or Agile
- Experience working in a remote or distributed team environment
