About the Role
The Project Manager - Life Sciences will play a crucial role in overseeing projects from initiation to delivery, ensuring compliance with GxP regulations and managing cross-functional teams. This position requires a unique blend of technical knowledge, leadership skills, and attention to detail.The ideal candidate will have a strong background in project management within the Life Sciences sector, with a deep understanding of GxP regulations and their application in real-world scenarios. They will be responsible for defining project scopes, setting timelines, and managing resources to ensure successful project delivery.
As part of the Sopra Steria team, the Project Manager will work closely with stakeholders to understand their needs and expectations, providing regular project updates and ensuring stakeholder satisfaction.
What You Will Do
- Develop and manage project plans, timelines, and budgets to ensure projects are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget
- Lead and coordinate cross-functional project teams, including scientists, engineers, and regulatory professionals
- Facilitate effective communication and collaboration among team members to ensure smooth project execution
- Identify potential project risks and develop mitigation strategies to minimize their impact
- Monitor and manage risks throughout the project lifecycle, ensuring proactive issue resolution
- Engage with stakeholders to understand their needs and expectations, providing regular project updates and ensuring stakeholder satisfaction
- Ensure all project activities comply with GxP regulations, maintaining accurate and up-to-date project documentation
- Prepare and present project reports to senior management and regulatory authorities, highlighting key achievements and challenges
- Identify opportunities for process improvements and implement best practices to enhance project efficiency and quality
What We Are Looking For
- Bachelor's degree in Life Sciences, Engineering, or a related field, with an advanced degree preferred
- Proven experience in project management within the Life Sciences sector, with a strong understanding of GxP regulations
- Excellent organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously
- Strong leadership and team management abilities, with experience in leading cross-functional teams
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage with stakeholders at all levels
- Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment, with a strong focus on attention to detail and risk management
- Strong knowledge of Excel and other project management tools, with experience in managing project budgets and timelines
- Certification in project management methodologies such as Agile/Scrum or Prince2, with a strong understanding of their application in real-world scenarios
