About the Role

The Project Manager position at SolveNow, Inc. is a critical role that oversees all aspects of the project lifecycle, from initiation to closeout. This includes managing project schedules, budgets, and resources, as well as ensuring compliance with regulatory and stakeholder requirements. The successful candidate will have a strong background in engineering and a proven track record of delivering complex projects on time and on budget.

As a Project Manager at SolveNow, Inc., you will be responsible for leading a team of professionals and coordinating with external stakeholders, including clients, vendors, and contractors. Your excellent communication and analytical skills will be essential in identifying and mitigating project risks, as well as resolving obstacles and issues that may arise during the project lifecycle.

The Project Manager will report to a senior manager and will be expected to work closely with cross-functional teams, including engineering, procurement, and construction. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of the project management process and will be able to apply this knowledge to drive project success.

What You Will Do

  • Manage the project lifecycle, including project initiation, engineering, material procurement, construction, commissioning, and closeout
  • Create and manage project schedules, budgets, and resources
  • Coordinate with external stakeholders, including clients, vendors, and contractors
  • Identify and mitigate project risks, issues, and obstacles
  • Lead and manage a team of professionals, including providing guidance and support as needed
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory and stakeholder requirements
  • Manage and track project metrics, including budget, schedule, and resource utilization
  • Develop and maintain project plans, including project scope, budget, and schedule
  • Coordinate and manage project meetings, including scheduling and facilitating meetings with stakeholders
  • Prepare and present project reports, including status updates and progress reports

What We Are Looking For

  • Bachelor's degree in engineering or a related field from an accredited curriculum
  • Minimum 7 years of related experience, including 3 or more years managing engineering or architectural projects
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to deal effectively with a wide variety of industry, government, and public contracts on project-related matters
  • Professional registration preferred
  • Experience with project management tools and software, including Excel
  • Strong leadership and management skills, with the ability to lead and manage a team of professionals
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks and projects

Nice to Have

  • Experience with project management methodologies, including Agile and Scrum
  • Knowledge of regulatory and stakeholder requirements, including OSHA and environmental regulations
  • Experience with budgeting and cost control, including managing project budgets and tracking expenses
  • Strong negotiation and conflict resolution skills, with the ability to resolve issues and disputes in a fair and timely manner
  • Experience with team collaboration and communication tools, including Microsoft Teams and Slack
