About the Role
The Project Superintendent role at SVI BREMCO is a key position that entails the on-site execution and supervision of HRSG and boiler outage projects at combined cycle gas power plants. This role requires strong leadership skills, as the successful candidate will be responsible for leading field crews and coordinating subcontractors to ensure that all work is performed safely, efficiently, and in accordance with project specifications and timelines. The role reports to the Construction Manager and plays a crucial part in ensuring successful project delivery for SVI BREMCO's outage services.The day-to-day responsibilities of this role will involve overseeing the planning and execution of HRSG and boiler outage projects, ensuring that all work is completed to a high standard and within the specified timeframe. The Project Superintendent will also be responsible for managing the budget and ensuring that all costs are tracked and reported accurately.
The team context for this role involves working closely with Project Managers, Estimators, and Client Representatives to ensure that all projects are delivered to the required standard. The successful candidate will need to have excellent communication and organizational skills, as well as the ability to work collaboratively with others.
What You Will Do
- Lead field crews and coordinate subcontractors on industrial job sites
- Oversee the planning and execution of HRSG and boiler outage projects
- Manage the budget and track costs accurately
- Ensure that all work is performed safely and in accordance with OSHA safety regulations
- Coordinate with Project Managers, Estimators, and Client Representatives to deliver projects to the required standard
- Interpret technical drawings, scopes of work, and project schedules
- Develop and implement quality control processes to ensure that all work is completed to a high standard
- Manage and track progress against project timelines and milestones
- Identify and mitigate potential risks to the project
What We Are Looking For
- 5+ years of experience in power generation, with a strong background in HRSG or boiler outage work
- Proven leadership experience in managing field crews and subcontractors on industrial job sites
- Strong understanding of outage planning, safety protocols, and quality control
- Ability to interpret technical drawings, scopes of work, and project schedules
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office, including Excel
- Familiarity with project management software
- Willingness to travel to job sites as needed (up to 65%)
- Ability to work collaboratively with Project Managers, Estimators, and Client Representatives
