About the Role
The Prompt Engineer role at Acclaim AI is a unique opportunity to work on cutting-edge conversational AI projects, designing and writing conversational content entirely in Portuguese. As a member of the Prompt Engineering team, you will be responsible for analyzing business processes, designing scripts and prompts for AI agents, and creating training and test data sets.The team at Acclaim AI has built award-winning AI products for tech corporations, and this role offers the chance to work on real-world projects with a high level of ownership and impact. With a focus on speech technologies, NLP, and generative AI, this role is ideal for those with a passion for AI and conversational design.
As a Prompt Engineer, you will be working closely with the team to design and develop conversational flows for chatbots and AI agents, including intent mapping, dialogue trees, and fallback handling. Your expertise in Python scripting will be valuable in this role, and you will have the opportunity to develop and apply methodologies to assess the quality of AI agents' performance.
What You Will Do
- Analyze business processes and design scripts and prompts for AI agents
- Create training and test data sets for AI agents
- Develop and apply methodologies to assess the quality of AI agents' performance
- Design end-to-end conversational flows for chatbots and AI agents
- Work with the team to develop and improve conversational AI models
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate conversational AI into larger projects
- Stay up-to-date with the latest developments in conversational AI and NLP
- Participate in the development of new conversational AI products and features
- Conduct research and analysis to identify areas for improvement in conversational AI
- Develop and maintain documentation of conversational AI systems and processes
What We Are Looking For
- Native Portuguese speaker with native-level fluency
- 2-3+ years of hands-on experience working on AI/ML or conversational AI projects
- Proven experience writing and iterating prompts for LLMs (GPT, Claude, Gemini, or similar) for real business use cases
- Experience designing end-to-end conversational flows for chatbots or AI agents
- Background in business process analysis and ability to translate complex workflows into clear, structured dialogue scenarios
- Strong written communication skills and ability to write production-level bot copy and prompt instructions
- Experience with RASA or similar conversational AI platforms
- Python scripting skills

- Experience working in fintech, telecom, or retail industries
- Knowledge of speech technologies and NLP
- Experience with generative AI models and diffusion models
- Familiarity with voice-first agentic architecture and on-premises deployment
- Experience with cloud-based platforms and containerization
