About the Role

The Property Maintenance & Operations Coordinator position at Dart is a hands-on role that requires a deep understanding of property maintenance, facilities management, and operational excellence. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering high-quality maintenance support across all properties, ensuring that equipment, systems, and facilities are safe, functional, and well-maintained. This role is critical to the smooth operation of Dart's properties and will involve working closely with the maintenance team to identify and resolve issues promptly.

Day-to-day responsibilities will include routine and preventative maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of various systems, including AC, plumbing, and electrical. The coordinator will also be expected to maintain accurate records, manage inventory, and coordinate supply needs. Given the dynamic nature of property maintenance, the ability to work flexibly, including evenings, weekends, and public holidays, is essential.

What You Will Do

  • Perform routine and preventative maintenance across all properties, including AC systems, plumbing, electrical, and mechanical repairs
  • Troubleshoot and resolve maintenance issues quickly to minimize downtime and ensure safety
  • Maintain and service gates, pumps, tools, and equipment to ensure reliability and longevity
  • Power wash and upkeep exterior areas to ensure properties remain clean and well-presented
  • Support emergency maintenance needs, including after-hours repairs and urgent callouts
  • Assist with hurricane preparedness, securing property assets, and implementing safety measures
  • Maintain maintenance records, inventory of tools and parts, and coordinate supply needs
  • Provide operational support where needed while prioritizing maintenance excellence

What We Are Looking For

  • A minimum of 3 years' hands-on experience in property maintenance, facilities, or handyman roles
  • Strong practical experience with AC servicing, including cleaning, filter changes, and troubleshooting
  • Solid knowledge of basic electrical repairs, fixture replacement, and minor fault diagnosis
  • Proven plumbing maintenance skills, including responding to urgent repair situations
  • Experience maintaining equipment, tools, gates, and mechanical systems
  • The ability to perform physically demanding tasks in outdoor environments and near water
  • Experience working on boats or in marine environments is strongly preferred
  • Strong problem-solving skills with a proactive, maintenance-first mindset
  • Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, public holidays, and participate in on-call rotation
