About the Role
The Proposal Manager role at LinkedIn is a critical component of the global sales team, responsible for developing strategic and well-positioned sales proposals. As a Proposal Manager, you will be the hub for each pursuit, injecting strategy, solutions knowledge, and process into the proposal development process. You will work closely with cross-functional teams, including sales, marketing, and product, to create compelling proposals that showcase LinkedIn's products and services.The Proposal Manager will be responsible for owning proposal development from end-to-end, including strategy, project management, writing, editing, and delivery. You will need to be an expert on LinkedIn's SaaS solutions, including messaging and positioning, product/technical details, competition, methodology, and sales offerings. Your ability to forge relationships with subject matter experts and continually build a shared repository of knowledge and content will be essential to your success.

As a remote employee, you will be expected to work from your designated home work location and be available for occasional meetings outside of regular working hours.
What You Will Do
- Own pre-sale proposal development from end-to-end, including strategy, project management, writing, editing, and delivery
- Manage deliverables in response to proactive proposal requests, RFPs, RFIs, RFQs, PQQs, and other proposal-related documents
- Become an expert on LinkedIn's SaaS solutions, including messaging and positioning, product/technical details, competition, methodology, and sales offerings
- Forge relationships with subject matter experts to continually build a shared repository of knowledge and content
- Serve as the go-to point person for agile proposal support across multiple time zones
- Collaborate with a broad team on creative tasks surrounding topics that stretch the limits of your comfort zone
- Develop and maintain a comprehensive understanding of LinkedIn's products and services, including LinkedIn Sales Navigator, LinkedIn Learning, and LinkedIn Hiring Solutions
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in proposal management and sales enablement
- Continuously improve proposal development processes and templates to drive efficiency and effectiveness
What We Are Looking For
- 4+ years of direct experience supporting similar pre-sale and proposal efforts
- Flexible schedule to accommodate occasional meetings outside of regular working hours
- Superior writing and editing skills, with the ability to write and edit concisely and communicate technical concepts effectively
- Strong sense of ownership over a flawless proposal product, including attention to detail, commitment to deadlines, and a customer-service orientation
- Strong ability to problem-solve and exercise judgment on a regular basis with minimal oversight
- Excellent computer software skills, including MS Office, OneDrive, Google Suite, and Adobe InDesign
- Ability to adapt to new, technology-driven tools and processes
- Experience in a SaaS-based environment is preferred
- Experience supporting pre-sale and proposal/bid response efforts is preferred
- Fluency in a language other than English is seen as a benefit

- Experience with proposal management software
- Familiarity with LinkedIn products and services
- Certification in proposal management or a related field
- Experience working in a remote or distributed team environment
