Job Description
About the Role
The Proposal Manager role at UltraViolet Cyber is a critical component of the company's business operations, responsible for driving the development and submission of proposals for cybersecurity services. This role will work closely with the Chief of Revenue Operations and the SVP of Federal Operations to ensure that all proposals are thoroughly prepared and submitted on time. As a key member of the proposal team, the successful candidate will be responsible for developing personal and professional relationships with sales, recruiting, business operations, and executive leadership.The role entails working in a fast-paced environment, managing multiple proposals simultaneously, and collaborating with various stakeholders to ensure that all requirements are met. The Proposal Manager will be expected to develop a deep understanding of UltraViolet Cyber's services and solutions, as well as the needs of its clients, to craft compelling and effective proposals.
What You Will Do
- Assist the proposal team in preparing meaningful text and graphics for proposals
- Develop proposal outlines, workbooks, and schedules to meet deadlines
- Maintain boilerplate folders and documents, and differentiate between boilerplate and customized language
- Organize and facilitate briefings and meetings associated with proposal and capture activities
- Manage the proposal content library and produce standard proposals
- Support proposal managers in the development of larger, strategic proposals
- Provide graphics support for proposals and presentations
- Work closely with project managers to deliver proposals that meet all required criteria
- Participate in RFP strategy sessions and maintain information systems
- Collaborate with proposal coordinators on best practices and identify potential teaming partners
- Complete forms and documentation required by RFPs and RFQs
What We Are Looking For
- Experience in proposal management, preferably in the cybersecurity or IT services industry
- Strong knowledge of MSSP contracting and cybersecurity services
- Excellent writing and editing skills, with the ability to craft clear and compelling content
- Proficiency in MS Office Suite, including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
- Experience with Adobe InDesign and Illustrator
- Strong project management skills, with the ability to work independently and manage multiple projects
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, English, or Journalism preferred
- Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to meet deadlines under pressure
