What You Will Do

  • Practice medication management responsibilities and lead with empathy to ensure authentic client interactions
  • Use evidence-based practices and proprietary data to optimize care and treatment plans
  • Work collaboratively with cross-disciplinary care teams to develop and implement treatment plans
  • Provide treatment and support to patients in a remote setting
  • Develop and maintain effective relationships with patients, families, and healthcare teams
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest research and developments in psychiatric mental health nursing
  • Participate in ongoing education and training to maintain and improve skills and knowledge
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to develop and implement comprehensive care plans

What We Are Looking For

  • Master's or doctoral degree from an accredited university or graduate program in psychiatric mental health nursing
  • Active NC Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP) license with MD supervisor
  • 1+ years of independent experience in psychiatry
  • Nurse Practitioner approval with prescriptive authority for legend drugs and Controlled Substance Schedules II – V
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively with cross-disciplinary teams
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment
  • Strong organizational and time management skills

Nice to Have

  • Experience working in a remote or telehealth setting
  • Certification in psychiatric mental health nursing
  • Experience with electronic health records (EHRs) and other healthcare technology
