What You Will Do
- Practice medication management responsibilities and lead with empathy to ensure authentic client interactions
- Use evidence-based practices and proprietary data to optimize care and treatment plans
- Work collaboratively with cross-disciplinary care teams to develop and implement treatment plans
- Provide treatment and support to patients in a remote setting
- Develop and maintain effective relationships with patients, families, and healthcare teams
- Stay up-to-date with the latest research and developments in psychiatric mental health nursing
- Participate in ongoing education and training to maintain and improve skills and knowledge
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to develop and implement comprehensive care plans
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams to ensure seamless care coordination
What We Are Looking For
- Master's or doctoral degree from an accredited university or graduate program in psychiatric mental health nursing
- Active NC Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP) license with MD supervisor
- 1+ years of independent experience in psychiatry
- Nurse Practitioner approval with prescriptive authority for legend drugs and Controlled Substance Schedules II – V
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work collaboratively with cross-disciplinary teams
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment
- Strong organizational and time management skills
Nice to Have
- Experience working in a remote or telehealth setting
- Certification in psychiatric mental health nursing
