About the Role

The Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP-BC) role at OptiMindHealth is a unique opportunity to join a leading clinician-led behavioral health company. As a key member of the integrated care team, you will work closely with physicians, licensed clinical psychologists, and licensed mental health professionals to provide high-quality care to patients. With a focus on holistic and cost-effective mental health care, you will have the autonomy to customize care for each patient, determining the frequency and length of sessions.

The role is perfect for those who value flexibility and work-life balance. With the option to work from home or in one of OptiMindHealth's offices, you will have the freedom to create your own schedule, working between Mondays and Fridays, 7:00 AM - 7:00 PM. You will be responsible for managing your own patient load, without the burden of on-call responsibilities, allowing you to focus on providing exceptional care.

What You Will Do

  • Provide high-quality patient care, including medication management and individual psychotherapy
  • Customize care for each patient, determining the frequency and length of sessions
  • Work collaboratively with the interdisciplinary health care team, including physicians, licensed clinical psychologists, and licensed mental health professionals
  • Perform family therapy, group therapy, and psychological testing as needed
  • Develop and implement treatment plans, taking into account the unique needs of each patient
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records, ensuring confidentiality and compliance with regulations
  • Participate in ongoing professional development, staying current with best practices and industry developments
  • Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams, providing education and support
  • Utilize digital tools and technology to enhance patient care and streamline workflows

What We Are Looking For
