About the Role

As a Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner at OptiMindHealth, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality mental health care services to patients in a supportive outpatient environment. You will work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team of healthcare professionals, including physicians, licensed clinical psychologists, and licensed mental health professionals. What You Will Do

  • Provide high-quality mental health care services to patients in a supportive outpatient environment
  • Conduct comprehensive assessments, diagnoses, and treatment plans for patients
  • Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of healthcare professionals to deliver patient-centered care
  • Customize treatment plans to meet the unique needs of each individual patient
  • Provide medication management, individual psychotherapy, family therapy, and group therapy, as needed
  • Determine the frequency and duration of patient visits, as well as the type of therapy or treatment required
  • Participate in the development and implementation of treatment plans, in collaboration with other healthcare professionals
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records, in accordance with company policies and procedures
  • Stay current with the latest developments and advancements in mental health care, attending conferences and workshops as necessary

What We Are Looking For

  • Current licensure as a Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner in the United States
  • Board certification as a Psychiatric-Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP-BC)
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in mental health care, preferably in an outpatient setting
  • Strong clinical skills, with the ability to conduct comprehensive assessments and develop effective treatment plans
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with patients, families, and healthcare professionals
