About the Role

What You Will Do

• Author, review, and annotate technical tasks to develop high-quality training data for AI models
• Develop original problem sets to test the performance of AI models on psychology-related tasks
• Provide clear and concise feedback to improve the quality of training data and downstream performance of AI models
• Collaborate with data scientists and software engineers to develop and implement AI models
• Analyze and interpret experimental designs, statistical plots, and behavioral data figures to inform the development of AI models
• Develop and maintain technical documentation for AI models and related systems
• Stay up-to-date with the latest developments in psychology and AI, applying this knowledge to improve the performance of AI models
• Work closely with stakeholders to identify and prioritize project requirements
• Develop and implement data quality control processes to ensure the accuracy and reliability of training data

What We Are Looking For

• PhD in Psychology, PsyD, or MS in Psychology with 3+ years of clinical, research, or applied experience
• BA/BS in Psychology with 5+ years of applied research, clinical support, or teaching experience
• Working fluency in at least two areas of psychology, including cognitive, clinical, developmental, social, or biological psychology
• Experience with technical writing and the ability to articulate reasoning step-by-step in written form
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret experimental designs and statistical data
• Experience working with digital tools and technologies, including data analysis software and programming languages
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects

Nice to Have

• Experience working with AI and machine learning models, including development and implementation
• Knowledge of programming languages, including Python or R
• Experience with data analysis software, including Excel or SQL
• Certification in a related field, including data science or machine learning
• Experience working in a remote or distributed team environment
