About the Role

As a Clinical Psychologist at Mediix, you will be part of a dedicated team providing high-quality psychological support to individuals and families impacted by autism. Your role will involve delivering evidence-based psychological services via telehealth, conducting assessments, and therapy sessions. What You Will Do

  • Conduct psychological assessments and therapy sessions via telehealth
  • Develop and implement comprehensive treatment plans in collaboration with a multidisciplinary team
  • Provide evidence-based psychological services to individuals and families impacted by autism
  • Maintain thorough clinical documentation and ensure accurate record-keeping
  • Participate in regular team meetings and contribute to the development of the psychological services program
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest research and best practices in the field of autism and psychological services
  • Provide education and support to families and caregivers
  • Develop and implement group therapy programs as needed
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives and contribute to the evaluation of the psychological services program

What We Are Looking For

  • Registered Clinical Psychologist in Australia
  • Experience working with individuals on the autism spectrum
  • Strong communication and therapeutic skills across the lifespan (children, adults, families)
  • Ability to work independently in a remote environment
  • Excellent time management and organizational skills
  • Ability to commit to at least 3 days per week, with the option to increase hours
  • Strong computer skills and proficiency in telehealth platforms
  • Experience with electronic health records and clinical documentation
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information
