About the Role
As a Clinical Psychologist at Mediix, you will be part of a dedicated team providing high-quality psychological support to individuals and families impacted by autism. Your role will involve delivering evidence-based psychological services via telehealth, conducting assessments, and therapy sessions. What You Will Do
- Conduct psychological assessments and therapy sessions via telehealth
- Develop and implement comprehensive treatment plans in collaboration with a multidisciplinary team
- Provide evidence-based psychological services to individuals and families impacted by autism
- Maintain thorough clinical documentation and ensure accurate record-keeping
- Participate in regular team meetings and contribute to the development of the psychological services program
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care
- Stay up-to-date with the latest research and best practices in the field of autism and psychological services
- Provide education and support to families and caregivers
- Develop and implement group therapy programs as needed
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and contribute to the evaluation of the psychological services program
What We Are Looking For
- Registered Clinical Psychologist in Australia
- Experience working with individuals on the autism spectrum
- Strong communication and therapeutic skills across the lifespan (children, adults, families)
- Ability to work independently in a remote environment
- Excellent time management and organizational skills
- Ability to commit to at least 3 days per week, with the option to increase hours
- Strong computer skills and proficiency in telehealth platforms
- Experience with electronic health records and clinical documentation
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information
