Job Description

About the Role

As an Account Executive for SailPoint's Public Sector Central Government team, you will play a critical role in driving business growth by selling Identity Security Solutions to highly strategic UK Central Government accounts, including MOD, HMRC, and Home Office. Your day-to-day responsibilities will involve building strong relationships with key decision-makers, identifying new business opportunities, and developing tailored solutions to meet the unique needs of each client. You will be working closely with a virtual team, utilizing your leadership skills to manage and motivate team members to achieve sales targets.

The success of our clients is dependent on our ability to provide cutting-edge Identity Security Solutions, and as an Account Executive, you will be at the forefront of this effort. You will need to stay up-to-date on the latest developments in the industry and be able to communicate complex technical information in a clear and concise manner.

What You Will Do

  • Develop and execute sales strategies to meet or exceed sales targets
  • Build and maintain relationships with key decision-makers at UK Central Government accounts
  • Identify new business opportunities and develop tailored solutions to meet client needs
  • Utilize Salesforce and Clari tools to manage sales pipeline and track performance
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to develop and implement marketing and channel engagement plans
  • Provide exceptional customer experience and ensure high levels of client satisfaction
  • Develop and deliver sales presentations and pitches to clients
  • Negotiate and close deals
  • Manage and motivate virtual team members to achieve sales targets

What We Are Looking For

  • 3+ years of experience in sales, preferably in the Identity Security or technology sector
  • Proven track record of success in selling complex solutions to government clients
  • Strong understanding of Identity Security Solutions and their applications
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a virtual team
  • Strong leadership and management skills
  • Experience with Salesforce and Clari tools
  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field

Nice to Have

  • Experience working with UK Central Government accounts
  • Knowledge of the latest developments in the Identity Security industry
  • Certification in sales or a related field
