## About the Role As a Public Sector Strategic Account Executive, FSI, you will play a pivotal role in driving Gitlab's growth across US Federal Systems Integrators. This is a time of significant modernization within government teams, and your expertise in aligning AI-powered DevSecOps platforms with company priorities will be crucial. You will own a strategic book of business, working closely with corporate leaders and technical stakeholders to shape long-term account plans and guide adoption from initial conversations through rollout. Your position will be part of Gitlab's AMER Public Sector Enterprise team, which benefits from proximity to the Washington, DC area for on-site company meetings, with the flexibility for remote work or travel as needed. - Navigate complex procurement cycles and develop multi-year technology roadmaps with chief information officers, technical leaders, and other stakeholders.
- Act as the primary point of contact and a trusted representative of Gitlab for strategic and large FSI prospects.
- Own your book of business and lead account strategy across both pre-sales and post-sales activities.
- Collaborate with DoW, IC, and FedCiv account executives, and other cross-functional partners to support successful rollout and adoption of Gitlab products across FSI divisions, business units, and program teams.
- Partner with resellers to deliver solutions that address FSI technology and services requirements.
- Conduct prospecting and opportunity development activities across large and strategic accounts.
- Contribute customer feedback and product ideas to Gitlab's public issue tracker as the voice of the customer.
- Develop and maintain deep understanding of customer needs, preferences, and pain points to inform sales strategies.
- Utilize Gitlab's AI-powered tools to analyze customer data and tailor your approach for maximum impact.
- Strong understanding of DevSecOps, CI/CD automation, and secure software delivery.
