Job Description

About the Role

The role of a Shopify Webmaster at PupMD involves managing the backend and frontend stability of a fast-moving, direct-response eCommerce brand. This includes ensuring all systems are live, fast, and fully functional across Shopify and VSL funnel environments. As a key member of the team, the Shopify Webmaster will play a crucial role in scaling a performance-driven funnel ecosystem across multiple customer journeys.

The ideal candidate will be highly technical, with a strong understanding of Shopify development, funnel systems, and integrations. They will be responsible for managing long-term funnel performance, resolving technical issues, and owning integrations across various platforms.

What You Will Do

  • Manage long-term funnel performance, including load speed and mobile optimization
  • Resolve all technical issues across Shopify and funnel systems
  • Own integrations across Shopify, SamCart, Stripe, Shopify Pay, and subscriptions
  • Run and manage split tests across frontend and backend funnels
  • Build and maintain HTML-based VSL and funnel pages
  • Manage Shopify Pay, checkout systems, and subscription flows
  • Ensure all funnels remain live and fully operational at all times
  • Collaborate with the team to scale the funnel ecosystem
  • Monitor and analyze funnel performance to identify areas for improvement
  • Implement changes to optimize funnel performance and user experience

What We Are Looking For

  • HTML expertise with strong Shopify development experience
  • Proven experience working in eCommerce environments
  • Strong understanding of funnel systems, ideally VSL or direct-response
  • Experience with integrations such as SamCart, Stripe, Shopify Pay, and subscriptions
  • Ability to work independently with minimal direction
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
  • Experience with performance marketing and direct-response marketing
  • Knowledge of Shopify themes, apps, and plugins
  • Familiarity with analytics tools and performance metrics

Nice to Have

  • Experience working with high-performing eCommerce brands
  • Background in direct-response or VSL-driven funnels
  • Knowledge of front-end development frameworks and libraries
  • Experience with A/B testing and experimentation tools
