What You Will Do

  • Develop and implement strategies to pursue new business opportunities, focusing on transportation, aviation, and aerospace sectors.
  • Craft compelling, high-quality responses to RFQs and RFPs, ensuring compliance with all requirements and showcasing RS&H's unique value proposition.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand client needs, develop targeted sales strategies, and implement these strategies through tailored proposals.
  • Conduct research to stay abreast of industry trends, competitor activity, and emerging opportunities, using this insight to inform pursuit strategies.
  • Coordinate and manage the proposal process, from initial notification of opportunity through to final submission, ensuring all deadlines are met and quality standards are exceeded.
  • Work closely with the marketing team to develop and maintain marketing materials, ensuring consistent messaging and branding across all platforms.
  • Analyze feedback from clients and internal stakeholders to continuously improve proposal quality and win rates.
  • Develop and maintain a deep understanding of RS&H's services and solutions, staying updated on new developments and advancements.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including clients, partners, and internal team members, to drive business growth and enhance RS&H's reputation.

What We Are Looking For

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing or a related field, with a minimum of 7 years of relevant experience in AEC marketing or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Proficiency in the full Microsoft Office suite, particularly Excel, Word, and PowerPoint, as well as experience with Adobe Creative Suite, specifically InDesign.
  • Strong attention to detail, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex ideas simply and persuasively.
  • Strong interpersonal skills, with a proven ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and build effective relationships with clients and internal stakeholders.
  • Ability to think critically, solve problems creatively, and demonstrate initiative in a self-directed work environment.
  • Experience with the SF 330 process and knowledge of industry-specific certifications such as CPSM are highly valued.

Nice to Have

  • Experience coordinating RFP and RFQ processes for both public and private sector clients, particularly in the transportation, aviation, and aerospace sectors.
  • Deltek Vision or similar database experience, with the ability to learn and adapt to new software systems.
  • Certification as a Professional Services Marketer (CPSM) or other relevant industry certifications.
