About the Role

High Tech Genesis is seeking a Purview Consultant to join their team.

Responsibilities

  • Lead assessments, roadmaps, and reference architectures for M365 and data estate (on-prem/Azure/multi-cloud)
  • Define controls, scope, and success metrics (PIPEDA/GDPR/SOC 2)
  • Drive deployment plans, change management, and training
  • Design labels/policies, auto-labeling, and encryption
  • Integrate across M365 and supported third-party repos

Requirements

  • 5-8+ years in security/compliance/data governance; 3+ years focused on Microsoft Purview
  • Proven experience implementing Microsoft Purview in a large enterprise environment
  • Strong understanding of data governance, compliance, and metadata management principles

How to Stand Out

  • Ensure your portfolio showcases experience with Microsoft Purview and data governance
  • Practice explaining complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders
  • Familiarize yourself with PowerShell and Graph API for automation and integration
  • Highlight any Microsoft certifications in Azure Data or Security
